Day 24

Flirting skill #4: Conducting Romantic Conversations

Romantic conversations set you apart from a "friend," and help deepen you into the "potential lover" category. You construct romantic conversations by using asking questons.

Romantic questions have three parts: the excuse, the description, and the question.

Here are some examples; you can also make up your own:

What makes your heart flutter?

I was thinking the other day about how amazing it is to be so moved to the point where your heart flutters. It's like your passion just builds and you feel so intensely in your heart. I would be curious to know what makes your heart flutter?

Have you ever met someone and felt like you were meeting them again, even though you were meeting for the first time?

I was talking with a friend of mine about those times when you meet someone, and just feel like you met them before, you know what I mean? Have you ever met someone and felt like you were meeting them again, even though you were meeting for the first time?

First time you had a crush on someone?

I was remembering back to high school and how exciting it was to have my first crush on someone, like it was so new and exciting, you know what I mean? It was so tender and so vulnerable. Can you recall, even now, what it feels like the first time you realize you have a crush on someone?

Do you have a special place that you'd love to go to for vacation? What's special about that place?

I was watching TV the other night, and I was looking at a show on travel, and I was wondering--do you have a special place that you'd love to go to for vacation? What's special about that place?

What's your favorite moment in a kiss?

I was talking to a friend of mine recently about those magical moments during a passionate kiss. Those moments where your eyes are closed and you get lost in the kiss. I would be really curious to know what your favorite moments are in a kiss.

What was it like for you the first time you fell in love?

I was thinking back this morning about the first time I fell in love, and how fresh and new and wonderful everything felt. I'd be curious to know, if you'd care to share--what was it like for you the first time you fell in love?

What are some of your favorite romantic movies?

I have been watching lots of movies recently and I am really curious about what women feel are romantic movies. Sometimes I see scenes that seem really passionate where the woman is swept off her feet to the point where she feels completely in love or completely accepted just to be herself. I'd be curious to know what are some of your favorite romantic movies?

Other topics covered in day 23 of the CD program:
